The jar measures 7.5 x 3.5" and comes with a tin or zinc lid. The jar is handblown glass and dates from the 1800's. These were used in apothecary shops and kitchens for storage of food and sundries. I have a number of them in different sizes available, I am letting my collection go, so please inquire if you need more. I have a few other examples listed on our site.
That is freshly picked cotton in the jar, I was on a farm the other day and thought it would look good for decor.
